SSG Benjamin Lucas was presented the Santa Fe Courage Award on Friday, Sept. 27 during the half time ceremony. Lucas graduated from Wayne High School in 2001 and attended Oklahoma State University. He is married to his wife, Stephanie, and he has two sons, Tyler (13), and Peyton (8), and a daughter Olivia who is 9.

Lucas enlisted into the Army National Guard in Dec. of 2003. Below, is his extensive list of duty stations and military awards.
