Santa Fe coasted to an easy victory over Quartz Mountain 8-2 on Tuesday. The Wolves got on the board in the first inning when Blake Robertson's sac fly scored one run for Santa Fe. The Wolves notched three runs in the fourth inning. Edmond Santa Fe Wolves Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Jase White and Conner Stevens, all driving in runs in the frame.
Robertson took the win for Santa Fe. He went six innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out eight. Nixon Petitt threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Reddemann took the loss for Quartz Mountain. He went five innings, allowing six runs on six hits and striking out two.
The Wolves racked up ten hits in the game. Dominic Johnson and White each collected multiple hits for Santa Fe. Johnson led the Wolves with three hits in four at bats. Edmond Santa Fe Wolves Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. White had the most chances in the field with seven.
Gates went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Quartz Mountain in hits.
