The Santa Fe boys basketball team came back from an 18-point 4th quarter deficit to win the Open Tournament 64-63 against the host team Edmond Memorial.
The team started off the game with an 8-0 run but found themselves tied at the end of the first quarter and quickly down 11 by halftime with a couple of key players in foul trouble. Things went from bad to worse in the third quarter as Memorial outscored the Wolves 11-18. It was an epic comeback as the Wolves outscored the Bulldogs 29-10 in the final eight minutes. Senior Taylor Williams hit a three-point shot in the last minute of the game to give the team their first lead since the first quarter.

The tournament began against the OKC Knights on Thursday and Santa Fe won big, 87-54. Senior Kristian Khoury led all scorers with 23 points, including five three-pointers.

In the second round, the boys faced off with Edmond North for the second time this young season and won again 66-53. Junior point guard Donovan Vickers scored a game-high 20 points. Senior guard Taylor Williams also contributed 19 points in the effort.
